インディーゲーム開発者を支援する団体「Six One Indie」は、2025年11月13日（現地時間）、第2回となる年次アワード「The Indie Game Awards 2025」のノミネート作品を発表しました。注目のゲーム・オブ・ザ・イヤー（GOTY）部門には、『Hollow Knight: Silksong』や『Hades II』、『Clair Obscur: Expedition 33』といった待望の話題作を含む10作品が候補に挙がっています。授賞式は日本時間12月19日午前8時30分より配信予定です。
『Silksong』『Hades 2』などGOTY候補10作品が決定
「The Indie Game Awards」は、インディーゲームとその開発者たちの功績を称え、シーン全体の認知度向上を目的として開催される祭典で、今年で2回目を迎えます。審査は「Game Informer」や「GameSpot」といった海外大手ゲームメディアのジャーナリストや、各種インディーゲームショーケースのキュレーターなど、多様な専門家によって行われます。
世界的に注目される大作から独創的なアイデアが光る意欲作まで、今年のインディーゲームシーンを象徴する顔ぶれが揃いました。ゲーム・オブ・ザ・イヤー（Game of the Year）候補作は以下の通りです。

今年のノミネーションでは、『Hollow Knight: Silksong』と『Hades II』がGOTY部門だけでなく、ゲームプレイデザイン部門にも名を連ねています。これらの作品は、それぞれが持つ独創的なアクションやシステムが注目されています。
また、優れた初作品に贈られるデビューゲーム部門では、GOTY候補でもある『Clair Obscur: Expedition 33』もノミネートされました。発表時から大きな注目を集めていた同作は、ここでも候補に選ばれています。同部門ではこのほか、閉店後のゲームショップを舞台にした『Sorry We’re Closed』など、個性豊かなタイトルが候補に挙がっています。
多様性を反映した新設部門も
今回のアワードでは、インディーゲームシーンの広がりを反映した新たな部門が複数設けられている点も特徴です。業界の未来を担う5組の開発者を選出する「Indie Vanguard Class」や、ラテンアメリカ、東南アジアといった特定の地域に焦点を当てたリージョンアワードが新設されました。
さらに、「Women-Led Games（女性が主導するゲーム）」や「Black Voices in Gaming（ゲームにおける黒人の声）」といった、特定のコミュニティに属する開発者を称える部門も設けられています。こうした部門の新設から、アワードがインディーゲームシーンの広範な功績に光を当てようとしていることがわかります。
授賞式は日本時間12月19日午前、全候補作リスト
「The Indie Game Awards 2025」の授賞式は、日本時間で2025年12月19日（金）の午前8時30分から開催されます。今回ノミネートが公開された18部門のほか、授賞式当日に発表される特別賞も存在します。式典の模様は、主催者であるSix One Indieの公式YouTubeおよびTwitchチャンネルのほか、大手メディアIGNやGameSpotでもライブ配信される予定です。また、ファンが投票に参加できる「Community Picks」セグメントの投票は、11月24日まで受け付けられています。
